Child Care Substitutes of Oregon recruits, hires, and trains substitutes to work in programs statewide. All substitutes receive support from a regional supervisor, access to 15 hours of paid professional development annually, and competitive wages.

Eligibility Requirements for Part Time Substitutes

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Food Handler’s Card
  • CPR and First Aid training
  • Ability to pass the Central Background Registry
    • Complete Central Background Registry (CBR)
    • Use the following information to fill out CBR:

  • Part Time Substitute Work Requirements; Part Time Substitutes must apply for at least one job per month and can work up to 72 hours per month, or an average of 18 hours per week.
